The Venus Flower

The Venus Flower and Other Stories formed part of the Biennial SALT festival of dance in Cornwall.
The performance was a piece of dance theatre that told the story of the Lobb brothers who brought many plants, including the Chilli Pepper, back to Cornwall from their travels abroad.
It took place in a promenade format, beginning at the top of the venues and winding its way down the valleys to the quay at Cotehele and the beach at Trebah.
It involved many small, outdoor, lighting and sound installations for the various pieces throughout the venues.
